Snap! Orlando proudly presents a solo exhibition by award-winning international photographer, Martin Stranka. Over the past 10 years, Snap! has had the privilege to work with Martin Stranka. We are delighted to present his exceptional series, 'I Found the Silence,’ a study of understanding that peace is found within.

Czech photographer Martin Stranka’s distinctive vision of photography is etched as a unique space located in a balance and serenity. His sophisticated and rewarding images exist in a narrow window of a few seconds between dreaming and awakening. Martin creates images that appear to be movie stills — a fine line between fantasy and reality. He has been hailed as one of the most promising artists of his generation and identified as one of the most accomplished practitioners of digital image-making as an art form.

Over the past few years he has won over 100 major international photography awards, including Sony World Photography Awards, an award compared to the Oscars of photography, the Professional Photographer of the Year, Nikon International Photo Contest, Prix de la Photographie Paris and International Photography Awards. His solo and group exhibitions have been seen from New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Basel, Tokyo, Milan, London, Miami, to Paris, Prague, Hong Kong, Kiev and many more in a variety of prestigious galleries such as Getty Images Gallery, Saatchi Gallery, and Snap! Orlando. His work was showcased alongside the likes of Andy Warhol, Annie Leibovitz, Banksy, Damien Hirst, Helmut Newton and Erwin Olaf. Stranka’s was presented at SCOPE, during Art Basel week, held annually in New York City, Miami, and Basel.

He has created book covers for Harper Collins Publishers, Sterling Publishing and Penguin. His works were also commissioned by cultural institutions such as the National Theatre in Prague and the Czech National Ballet.
